By placing an order with Lekker Licenses, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Return Window
Where applicable, physical products may be returned within 90 days from the date of delivery.
Please note that different conditions apply to digital products and software licenses as detailed below.
2. Returns
We accept returns for:
- Defective, damaged or incorrect physical products.
- Eligible non-defective physical products returned due to a change of mind.
Proof of purchase or your order number is required for all return requests.
3. Return Conditions
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Returns are accepted if:
- The incorrect product was supplied.
- The product arrived damaged.
- The product is defective.
Used products may be accepted where the fault is due to a manufacturing defect or where required under applicable South African law.
Change of Mind Returns (Physical Products Only)
To qualify for a change of mind return:
- The product must be unused.
- The product must be in its original condition.
- Original packaging, accessories, manuals and documentation must be included where applicable.
Lekker Licenses reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.
4. Exchanges
Eligible physical products may be exchanged within 90 days of delivery.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Where a replacement product is unavailable, we may offer:
- A refund
- Store credit
- An alternative equivalent product
in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation.
5. Return Method
Where physical products are eligible for return:
- Returns are handled by courier or registered mail.
- Once your return request has been approved, we will provide return instructions.
- Where applicable, a prepaid return shipping label will be supplied.
Please ensure returned items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

7. Refunds
Once your returned product has been received and inspected:
- Approved refunds are normally processed within 7 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during checkout unless otherwise agreed.
- Depending on your financial institution, it may take several additional business days before the refunded amount appears in your account.
8. Digital Products & Software Licenses
The majority of products sold by Lekker Licenses are digital software licenses.
Because digital license keys, activation codes and downloadable software cannot be “returned” once delivered, special conditions apply.
Once any of the following have been successfully delivered:
- Software license keys
- Product activation codes
- Digital downloads
- Software subscriptions
- Digital licenses
they are generally considered delivered and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once:
- The activation key has been viewed.
- The license has been delivered.
- The activation code has been redeemed.
- The software has been activated.
- The product has been registered.
Refunds or replacements for digital products will only be considered where:
- The supplied activation key is defective and cannot be activated.
- The incorrect software product was supplied by Lekker Licenses.
- The delivered product is materially different from its advertised description.
- Refund rights are required under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or any other applicable South African legislation.
Before requesting a refund, customers experiencing activation or installation issues must contact our support team.
Our technicians may attempt troubleshooting before approving a replacement license or refund.
9. Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our business, Lekker Licenses reserves the right to verify purchases before issuing refunds or replacement licenses.
Refund requests may be declined where there is evidence of:
- Fraudulent activity
- Abuse of software licensing
- Chargeback fraud
- Attempts to activate or reuse delivered software licenses
- Violation of Microsoft’s licensing terms
10. How to Request a Refund, Return or Exchange
To submit a refund or return request, please provide:
- Full Name
- Order Number
- Product Purchased
- Purchase Date
- Detailed description of the issue
- Screenshots or activation error messages (where applicable)

11. Consumer Rights
Nothing contained within this policy limits or excludes any rights that customers may have under applicable South African legislation, including the:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA)
- Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA)

Where legislation provides consumers with greater protection than this policy, the applicable legislation shall prevail.
